Our Story

After more than 30 years in the pastry industry, Dean’s journey has come full circle.

For 11 years, he worked right here at Inter Desserts, becoming part of the heart of the business long before he ever imagined owning it. His career has also taken him through some of Australia’s most respected pastry kitchens, including seven years working as Head Chef alongside renowned pastry chef Adriano Zumbo. An experience that helped shape his creativity, precision and love for the craft.

Pastry has never simply been a job for Dean. It’s where skill meets imagination. Where flavour, texture and detail can turn something delicious into something memorable.

Now, after decades spent learning, leading and perfecting his craft, Dean is stepping into a new chapter as the owner of the business he already knows so well.

With a deep respect for what Inter Desserts has built over the years, he is excited to put his own touch on its future, bringing fresh ideas, creativity and his own signature flair to the cakes and pastries coming out of the kitchen.

For Dean, owning the business isn’t the beginning of the story. It’s the next chapter of one that has been more than 30 years in the making.
